About

Hi, I’m Havva – a classically trained pianist from Cyprus, now based in Hull, UK.
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—from my earliest days at the piano in Cyprus to performing and teaching in a variety of settings in the UK.I hold both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music, as well as an ABRSM Grade 8 Certificate in Piano. In addition to my educational improvement in my profession, I've had the privilege of working with students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to more advanced players preparing for exams or performances. I truly enjoy getting to know each student and supporting them on their musical journey, no matter their age or background.

LESSONS

Lessons are welcoming, supportive, and designed to inspire confidence. I believe music education should be both enjoyable and meaningful, so I strive to create a relaxed, motivating atmosphere where students feel encouraged to grow at their own pace. My teaching focuses on solid fundamentals like technique, reading music, and expression, but we’ll also keep things fun and flexible—mixing in music you actually enjoy, from classical to pop and everything in between. If you're aiming for ABRSM or Trinity exams, I’ll guide you through the process step-by-step, making sure you're fully prepared and feeling good about it.Whether you want to play your favourite songs or simply unwind at the piano, I’m here to help you grow into the kind of musician you want to be.Ages & Levels: I teach children, teenagers, and adults — beginners to advanced.Styles: Classical, music theory, exam preparation (ABRSM, Trinity).Lesson Lengths: 30, 45, or 60 minutes.Lesson Format: In-person (online available upon request).
